We all know how important our photos and memories are to us in everyday life — none more so than those of a couple’s wedding day.

A great wedding photographer doesn’t just take pictures — they tell the story of the day in a way that’s timeless and deeply personal.

This award recognises exceptional wedding photographers who capture love stories with creativity and technical excellence.

Judges will look for: technical expertise, artistic vision, storytelling ability, client satisfaction, and the quality of the final images delivered to couples. This category is open to both full- and part-time professional photographers based in Kent.

A digital portfolio must be supplied for judging. You may also submit one physical album for on-the-day judging.

1. Tell us about you and your business, what you do, how long you have been operating and how many weddings you have undertaken in the last 12 months – please include whether you are a preferred supplier and the types of services offered.
2. Describe your approach to wedding photography and storytelling, the packages you offer, and how many weddings you have photographed in the last 12 months.
3. How do you work with couples to capture their special day authentically? What have been your biggest challenges, and what backup plans do you have in place?
4. Tell us about your ‘couple journey’ from consultation to the big day, through to post-production and the delivery of final images.
5. What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?

In your supporting evidence, please provide a portfolio showcasing three standout weddings. This can show different styles of photography or different types of setting, lighting, and colour. Provide any brochures or images you may have that showcase your offer or extra services, and include a maximum of six testimonials that support your entry.
