Although some couples may choose a classic venue with beautiful grounds, others love the appeal of a smaller and more intimate venue in which to share their special day with their closest friends and family.

This category is designed for smaller and more intimate wedding venues (up to 120 guests, sit-down), which may not accommodate the guest numbers of larger venues but can offer an alternative, elegant, and personal space for couples seeking a more private wedding experience.

Judges will look for: a warm and inviting atmosphere, excellent service, attention to detail, and the ability to create an intimate and unforgettable wedding experience.

1. Tell us about your business, when it was established, how many weddings it services on average each year, and the licenses you hold. Explain if you are independent, part of a group etc. and how you operate.
2. Describe your boutique venue’s setting and ambiance, and tell us about your wedding spaces and capacity. Explain your customer journey, packages, usps, add-ons, staffing set up and on-the-day protocols.
3. Explain how you create a unique, intimate experience for couples, including whether you have an in-house or external events team, planner, etc., and how you work with your couples.
4. Provide examples of weddings held at your venue that highlight your personal touch. Remember to include information about catering, accommodation options, and any unique services.
5. What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?

In your supporting evidence, please provide your wedding brochures and images that depict the style of weddings and spaces you offer, including package options. You may also include additional imagery or documents (e.g. menus) that showcase your offering or extra services, and include a maximum of six testimonials that support your entry.
